Extracts made by William Paver from original documents formerly in the registry at York, but now missing. Copied from Paver's ms. (B. M. Add. ms 29667-8) Those for the years 1567 to 1630 were printed in the Yorkshire archaeological journal, v. 7, 9-14, 16-17, and 20. The present volumes begin where the Journal left off and continue through 1714
